Q. How close is The Hideout to grocery stores and other common necessities?
A. There is a smaller grocery store right outside of the main gate as well as two restaurants, a beer store and a small sports store. If you go to the town of Hamlin (5 minutes from main gate) you will find a full size gorcery store, pharmacies, hardware store, fast food, an Italian restaurant, two Chinese restaurants and more. For big box stores (Home Depot, Wal-Mart ect) its about a 25 minute ride from the main gate

A. The Hideout has lakes, beaches, pools, tennis courts, golf course, ski hill, softball field, handball courts, restaurant, bar, tiki bar, golf pro shop, fitness center, game room, hair and nail salon, indoor tennis, indoor basketball, fitness rooms for pilates/zumba/karate, lakeside picnic areas, an art center and several canoe/kayak areas.

A. The Hideout has 3 lakes: Roaming wood Lake which is approx 215 acres and allows power boating. Deerfield Lake is approx. 25 acres and is used for fishing , canoeing and kayaking. Brookfield Lake is approx. 10 acres and is used for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking.
Q. What are the fees associated with living in The Hideout?
A. The yearly amenity fee in the Hideout is currently $1695/year. The community also has the convenience of central sewer and water for about $1400/year split up quarterly.
Q. Are all the amenities of the community included in the yearly fee?
A. No. There are additional fees for the golf course, ski hill, fitness center and indoor gaming courts.

A. The Hideout covers approx. 3.6 square miles of land or approx. 2300 acres.

Q. Does The Hideout have gated entrances and security?
A. Yes, The Hideout has three entrance. The main gate, the North gate, and a new gate added recently for people living further in the North section. All 3 entrances are gated. The Hideout also has it's own security personnel mostly to man the gates and to patrol the roads to enforce the 25 mph speed limit.
